We are pleased to announce Diving Deep: Campus Compact’s Institute for Experienced Civic and Community Engagement Practitioners -- an exciting new professional development opportunity that Campus Compact has created in partnership with California Campus Compact. The application deadline is December 2, 2009.
Over 3 ½ days in July 2010, 40 seasoned practitioners will gather with a team of distinguished facilitators to explore the future of the service-learning and civic and community engagement movement and come to an understanding on a deep, personal level of what it means to be a part of this field today. Diving Deep offers a professional development opportunity to support seasoned practitioners in influencing their campus and contributing to advancing the movement on the local, state and national levels. The institute will engage participants in the exploration of cutting- edge issues in service-learning and civic and community engagement in higher education, in a supportive, challenging and participatory environment among national peers.
Guidelines, instructions and an application form are available on Campus Compact’s website at www.compact.org If you have any questions, please contact Piper McGinley at California Campus Compact. Email: piper@cacampuscompact.org. Phone: 415-405-7577.
