The primary problem is getting Americans to accept facts.
Most, when confronted by political realities, would rather not know. They would rather label them as "toxic" and retreat behind happy-talk and rose-colored glasses. If they accept the facts, they are forced to admit the reality of their powerlessness. This is a difficult and terrifying prospect. But we must suck it up and face the music.

A retreat to willful ignorance is no longer a viable option. (never was) Our children and loved ones are dying because our military forces are being misused as mercenaries to enforce corporate closed-bid contracts. This wrong-headed retreat to colonial primitivism, has undermined American values, ruined our reputation, and destroyed our credibility. Military-industrial conquest on the taxpayers' tab is not national policy. This is a surrender of our values. As resources are squandered abroad and liberties curtailed at home, it is time to fight back.

The emperor is naked. And it’s not pretty. Try as we might, it is no longer possible to maintain our suspension of disbelief. We must take off the glasses, stifle the happy-talking heads, count casualties, add up deficits, bring our children home, and protect America from the amoral criminals at the helm.

At this point, deniers, apologists, and those complicit in these crimes represent only 1-14% of America. There is power in solidarity. We can join together as family, friends, neighbors, communities, states, and as a nation to take our country back. And we will.
